Durant Police

Burglary of a business -- March 16, 3:20 a.m., 3300 block North Washington Avenue, A burglary alarm called police to a business. They found a door had been pried open, apparently using a piece of rebar found at the scene.

Fannin County Sheriff

Unauthorized use of motor vehicle -- March 10, FM 898, The complainant said someone had tried to steal one of his pickups and drove it into a ditch. Then, he found that another one of his pickups, a 2004 Chevrolet, was missing from his driveway.

Burglary of church -- March 10, FM 898 (Marvin United Methodist Church), Someone broke into the church and took the copper wire from its central heat and air conditioner and from its hot water heater. There was water damage to the floor.
