Sherman Police

Assault -- Oct. 17, 2000 block Kay Court, Police were called to a scene where, a caller said, a woman was chasing a man with a knife. The woman, who appeared to have been the victim of an assault, stated she had been punched in the face.

Burglary -- Oct. 17, 1400 East King, Someone threw a rock through a vehicle's window and stole an iPod from inside it.

Assault -- Oct. 17, 800 block South Travis, Officer John Phares. A man said he was punched by a suspect during an argument, leaving visible injuries. There were multiple witnesses. Police jailed the suspect, a 33-year-old Sherman woman, on a charge of assaulting causing injury.

Assault -- Oct. 18, 200 block Archer, Two men were reported to be fighting in the street and one of them claimed to police that the other owed him money. The second person had fled the scene before police arrived.

Assault -- Oct. 18, 200 block West Dulin, A minor wreck became an assault when the passenger in one of the vehicles punched the occupant of the other in the face.

Assault arrest -- Oct. 17, Police jailed a Sherman man, 34, on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Drug arrest -- Oct. 16, Police jailed a Sherman man, 32, on a charge of manufacture-delivery of a controlled substance between 4-200 grams. The suspect posted $7,500 bond on Saturday.
