Police reports

Bonham Police

Burglary -- Feb. 20. A complainant reported that during the night his vehicle was burglarized. A CB radio was taken.

Theft -- Feb. 20. A report was made concerning stolen medication from a residence. The complainant said the medication was missing that morning.

Warrant arrest -- Feb. 21. A man turned himself in on a Bonham warrant.

Debit card theft -- Feb. 21. A complainant reported she left her purse at work and later, when it was found, the debit card was missing. Then, the complainant said someone had made charges against the account.

DWI arrest -- Feb. 21, 8th and Beech streets, A driver was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated, 3rd or more offense. During a search of the vehicle, before having it impounded, police found marijuana inside it, and added a second charge against the driver.

Burglary -- Feb. 22, Bonham High School. Taken from a car were a backpack with various items, an amplifier, and CDs.

Arrests -- Feb. 22, During a disturbance call, police found two women with outstanding arrest warrants, one from Fannin County and the other issued through Victoria (Texas) police. Both were arrested.

Burglary -- Feb. 23, Town West Coin Laundry. Someone broke a washing machine, a coke machine, and a metal door and took $400 from a coin machine.

Sherman Police

Theft -- Feb. 23, 4800 block Texoma Parkway, telephone report. Between 7:30-10:30 p.m. Tuesday, someone took a cell phone from her purse while inside a business.

Arrest -- Feb. 23, 100 block South Willow at Lamar, A 40-year-old woman was arrested on charges included possession of controlled substance, plus the original failure to identify by giving a false name. She posted $6,500 bond Saturday.

Shoplifting suspect jailed -- Feb. 25, 4800 block Texoma Parkway, Police jailed a 20-year-old woman on a charge of theft between $50-$500. She posted $1,500 bonds and was released Friday.

Arrest, drugs -- Feb. 26, 1100 block North Ricketts at Beldon, During a vehicle search, police found less than a gram of methamphetamine underneath the driver's seat, plus paraphernalia "necessary to use the illegal substance." The suspect was jailed on a felony charge of possession of controlled substance and posted $5,000  bonds to be released. The passenger in his vehicle was released from the scene without charges.
