New fitness club to open in Sherman
Aspen Athletic, a fitness club with 11 locations in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Okla., and Iowa, is preparing to open its 12th club in Sherman.
Construction of the club's new Sherman facility has begun. When completed, the 37,000-square-foot space will feature more than $750,000 worth of equipment including LifeFitness and Precor, a pool, sauna, basketball and Group X classes including yoga, aqua, step and group cycling. The club will also offer a "Guaranteed Results" weight management aystem, as well as the Apex Five Components of Fitness, a personalized nutrition and fitness program. A Kids Klub and personal training is also available.
"I am proud to bring this premier club to the Sherman area," said Joe Bartels, president and CEO of Aspen Athletic. "You have the needs. We have the answers. Our new Aspen Athletic Club will provide you a fun and active atmosphere to give you the results you want."
The new club will be managed by Mark Sanchez, general manager; Vin Koloni, assistant general manager; Troy Livingston, sales counselor; Andre Milioto, sales counselor; and Gina Santurro, operations manager.
A temporary workout facility, located at 705 Taylor, Suite 200, is already open and ready for workouts. For information or a free trial membership, call 903-813-0800.

Too bad they can't keep thier clubs open. Check out the Tulsa location on New Orleans. CLOSED! Oh the better business bureau can tell you a bit about them as well- UNSATISFACTORY

I am happy with the Nautilus offerings. They are doing a great job expanding to meet the needs of the community. THe staff has always been very friendly, sought us out to talk to us, and there if we need help or have questions. Even know us by name!

Nice. This will bring some REAL jobs to Sherman...I'm sure SEDCO negotiated this great catch. Corpulent, why must you post the SAME message 4 times? Or was this a herald-democrat mistake? Regardless, I would think the hd could post it only once since they obviously proof everything before they post it.

If they even TALK to their clients they are WAY ahead of Nautilus, much less offer to show them how to use the equipment.

The location is going to be the old K-Mart. It is huge and IS just what this town needs! If anything, go check out the hot staff. That sales counselor Andre is my favorite.
