DURANT, Okla. -- Durant Main Street will hold its 11th annual Spotlight on Special Occasions Feb. 6 at Southeastern Oklahoma State University's Visual and Performing Arts Center. The event will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. and include vendor booths, demonstrations, displays, handouts, sample books and more.

At noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., style shows featuring the latest fashions for every day and special occasions. Texoma-area youths selected to model include: Heather Childs, Kylie Sinor, Maddison Williams, Barbara Marlow, Rebecca Southerland, Tristen Boucher, Olivia Haworth, Claire Soltis, Lexie Young, Madilyn and Payton Al-Khateib, all of Durant; Mykah Staples, Mandy Owens, Stormy Hise, Kelsea Butler and Albanie Beck, all of Antlers, Okla; Brittany Hopkins, Silo, Okla; Meagan Jumper and Montana Anderson, Ada, Okla; Chelsea Miller, Brandon Bridges, Bailee Weger and Ginavee Mowles, Colbert, Okla; Emily Benefield, Byng, Okla; Taryn Morris, Rachel Carlile, and Tamara Morris, Rattan, Okla; Kaitlyn Browning, Calera, Okla; Jaime Hollingsworth, Taylor Dancer, Kristen Hall and Mattie Fox, Bennington, Okla; Hannah Scott, Sherman; and Bailey Barnett, Tom Bean.

Tickets are $10 at the door or five for $25 in advance. Advance tickets can be obtained from the Durant Main Street office, 110 N. Second. Credit card orders will be accepted through Friday afternoon. Door prizes donated by participating businesses will be given every half-hour, and the winner must be present.
