An evening of chocolate, wine, heavy hors d'oeuvres, dancing and auctions highlight CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Grayson County's annual fundraiser, Chocolate Indulgence, to be held from 7 -11 p.m., Feb. 14, at the Municipal Ballroom in Sherman.

"Our event has always been scheduled near Valentine's Day, Asa Jessee, CASA board president said. " This year, it will actually be held on Valentine's Day, making it the perfect romantic setting while helping a very worthy cause."

Chocolate Indulgence has become the signature fundraiser for CASA of Grayson County with the board members and staff working diligently to ensure a fun and entertaining evening for all guests. This is the 11th year of CASA's presentation of Chocolate Indulgence.

Rocky and the Bullwinkles, will be performing -- ensuring guests will want to jump to their feet and dance the night away. Both live and silent auctions will be held and those with the high bids are guaranteed to walk away with wonderful treasures. David Whitlock will be the auctioneer for the live auction.

Chocolate Indulgence serves a two-fold purpose: first, it gives the community an opportunity to enjoy themselves, and second, the proceeds help fund CASA volunteers as they advocate in the court system.

"The funds that we raise during this event contribute significantly to our efforts of being a voice for the abused and neglected children of our area," Jessee said.
