Investigators identified the suspect in Saturday's robbery of American Bank of Texas in Sherman as Edward Lee Harlow.
An aggravated robbery warrant has been issued for his arrest, according to a press release from the Sherman Police Department. "Harlow is to be considered armed and dangerous. If anyone has information on his whereabouts, they are asked to contact their local law enforcement agency, Sherman PD (903-892-7290) or the FBI Dallas Field Office (972-559-5000)," the press release states.
Police said that just after 10 a.m. Saturday, a lone man gave a bank teller a note saying he was armed and demanding cash. The man did not hurt anyone nor show the weapon he said he had. The bank that was robbed is on Taylor Street, just east of U.S. Highway 75 in Sherman.
A Sherman police officer said Monday that the last local sighting of the suspect, who has relatives in Grayson County, was at the Denison Walmart.
