SOCIAL SERVICES – Regional Executive
Director

Brothers Big Sisters, a premier non-profit agency dedicated to developing positive mentoring relationships is looking for a Regional Executive
Director continuing an established growth
initiative in the Sherman area. The broad range of responsibilities include recruiting volunteers wanting to serve in a mentoring capacity;
developing partnership relationships with
corporate, service and faith-based
organizations;
coordinating Regional Board activities; creating initiatives to ensure
appropriate agency
visibility and presence in the community and
meeting Regional fund raising goals. Agency standards must be
followed regarding
marketing, activities, safety, training, goals, etc. A Bachelor’s Degree preferably in a Human Services field is strongly preferred. Must have a minimum of five years of successful fund
development or sales
experience; non-profit
experience is a plus. Must be a strong public speaker/presenter, highly organized, able to
successfully secure funding; have excellent written skills, computer proficiency, and detail
orientation. Additionally must be able to work flexible hours including weekend and evenings; frequent local travel in the service area;
occasional travel to the DFW area. In addition to providing a dynamic growth oriented
