St. Mary's School celebrated Catholic Schools Week

</p>St. Mary's Catholic School in Sherman is celebrated Catholic Schools Week this past week. The theme was Dividends for Life. 


<p>The week focused on the values of Catholic education. Activities throughout the week -- Silly Sock Day, Pajama Day, and Patriotic Day -- will compare somewhat to spirit week in other schools. However, the activities included a service project for students and families. 
</p>

<p>The project recipient is Texoma Healthcare Center. All week, the students collected items for the healthcare center's patients. <br></p><p>St. Mary's Middle School students will then deliver the socks with non-skid soles, chapstick, and travel-sized tissues and lotions to the center. Each child in the school is also making a hand-made Valentine's card to give to the patients. </p>
