Texoma RMA meets Wednesday

Grayson County Regional Mobility Authority will hear Monday how issues affecting the transportation agency fared during recent sessions of the Texas Legislature.

The board, which deliberates issues ranging from road projects to those affecting North Texas Regional Airport, also will discuss several projects submitted for funding through the American Recovery and Investment Act funds.

And the board will consider approving an airport budget to be submitted to the Grayson County Commissioners Court.

The board will meet in closed, executive session to discuss legal issues with an attorney and economic development incentives. Back in open session, the board is scheduled to consider taking action on a settlement offer from Victor Miller and approving a building lease between the airport and Avatar Investments LP.

The Board will consider approving a large hangar lease policy as well as a ground lease agreement between the airport and Grayson County Department of Juvenile Services to build a multi-use facility.

Airport Director Mike Shahan will update the board on matters affecting the Airport Zoning Commission; the airport's capital improvements plan; "Fuel Flowage Report; the airport's budget; the Airport Fire Department; the air traffic control operations report; the Civil Air Patrol's Adopt and Airport Program; and the west side utility update.

The meeting will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Greater Texoma Utility Authority Conference Room. 5100 Airport Dr., Denison (North Texas Regional Airport).
