Assault -- Oct. 9, 100 block North Cleveland,A woman told police her boyfriend pushed her down. The boyfriend, 31, was jailed on a charge of assault-family violence and remains in jail in lieu of $1,500 bail.
Theft of wire between $5- $20,000 -- Oct. 9, 1000 block North Ricketts, An air conditioner unit was reported taken from a residence. Police were called to a scrap metal recycling business, where three men were jailed on a charge of theft between $5,000-$20,000.
Burglary -- Oct. 9, 3415 S. U.S. Highway 75, Between 11:23 p.m. Thursday and 6:58 p.m. Friday, someone burglarized a company vehicle of items valued at $300.Burglary -- Oct. 9, 800 S. FM 1417, A thief went into an apartment through an unlocked door while the resident was asleep and stole several items.
Marijuana arrest -- Oct. 9, 4800 block Timberview, A caller from an apartment complex stated someone was trying to get inside the wrong apartment. Police knocked on that door and the suspect answered, holding marijuana in both hands. He went to jail.
Burglary -- Oct. 10, 401 E. U.S. Highway 82, Officer Aaron Vines. Someone broke into a parked vehicle and stole items.
Assault -- Oct. 10, 2100 block Texoma Parkway, A 27-year-old man told police five males, unknown to him, assaulted him.
Assault -- Oct. 10, 300 block N. FM 1417, Police were dispatched to an apartment complex regarding an assault and found the suspect still on scene. Nichols' report said the victim's cheek was swollen and discolored. Police jailed a suspect, 18, on a charge of assault.
Assault with car -- Oct. 11, 3000 N. U.S. Highway 75, Police were called to the location at U.S. Highway 82 and U.S. Highway 75 regarding a vehicle crash. He reported that one of the vehicles had fled and that it's driver had attempted to run over a witness on the way off. Police jailed the suspect on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
