Fannin County Sheriff

Theft -- Recreation Road, Between October and Nov. 3. Someone told the sheriff's office that a two-wheel trailer and tools were taken from his residence.

Theft -- FM 1552, A wire welder store beneath a carport reported stolen.

Stabbing -- CR 2155, Deputies were dispatched because of an assault. Upon arrival, Moore said, they found one man bleeding from a stab wound. Deputies determined that a father and son had argued over an incident that had occurred weeks prior. Deputies observed that both parties had injuries consistent with knife cuts. They seized two knives as evidence.

Stolen tractor -- FM 273, A complainant said someone had cut the lock on the gate to his property and stole a Kubota tractor and shredder.

Sherman Police

Stabbing and arrest -- Nov. 18, 11:55 p.m., 1200 block North Harrison, Police jailed a man on a charge of aggravated assault with a weapon following a call to a home. The victim, 38, told police that his roommate, 34, had stabbed him while he was sleeping. The wound was to the upper arm and, the report states, the victim refused medical treatment. The suspect remains incarcerated without benefit of bail after being served with a federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency warrant.
