The Grayson County College Visual Art Department is inviting area artists to participate in the "Mirror, mirror on the wall...IV" exhibition and fundraiser, a benefit to be held at the Grayson County College South Campus in Van Alstyne.
The exhibit of mirrors will be on view from April 6 to April 13. Artists are invited to submit a one-of-a-kind art mirror, designed and created by the artist, to be exhibited and auctioned on April 13. Bidding on mirrors will begin at $10.
The "Mirror, Mirror on the Wall...IV" exhibit and silent auction is sponsored by the GCC Visual Arts Department and the Grayson County College South Campus.
Mirrors will be accepted at the Arts & Communications Building on the GCC main campus in Denison, March 29 through noon, April 5 by arrangement or they may be delivered to the GCC Van Alstyne campus between 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., April 5. All art mirrors must be properly wired and ready to hang. Please do not use saw tooth hangers, a press release from the college states.
The exhibition will be open to the public April 6 to April 13, with a silent auction from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. April 13 at the GCC Van Alstyne Campus, 1401 W. Stephens.
